Golf side game
How to play Bingo Bango Bongo
For 2 to 6 players.
How it works
Three points on every hole: Bingo for the first ball on the green, Bango for the ball closest to the pin once every ball is on, and Bongo for the first ball in the hole. Play in order, farthest from the hole first, so everyone has a fair shot at each.
The money
Each point is worth a set amount from every other player ($1 to start): with four players a point earns $3.
Keeping track
Tap who got each point on the score screen; tapping someone else moves it. Points don’t depend on the score, so handicaps don’t come into it.
Example
Four players, $1 a point. Ann is first on the green and first in the hole: Bingo and Bongo, $2 from each of the other three.
This is how Putt for Dough plays it; setup changes the amounts. Free, with no account: one phone keeps score, everyone follows the money live, and settling up is a tap.
